dumbledog Kindof a guilty pleasure that I like their take on Tangerine Dream's Virgin/Blue years better than actual TD but there you have it. Absolutely love this one.

Klaus Sauer I listen currently to the 1.st track Rubidion, which is excellent. The atmosphere is really like you listen to a remastered bootleg of an old TD concert. The first track ends a little to abruptly. Should maybe underscore the bootleg character.

There is only one thing that differs Perge from the old TD. TD's concert pieces were longer in 1975/76, usually 35 to 45 minutes.

The last track "Bataclan" was pre-released unter their Dream Conspiracy - Pseudonym on their Soundcloud Site.

BGE Now that's what I'm talking about! I've listened to most of Tangerine Dream's 70s stuff, including much of the Tangerine Tree. With this album, you get the same excitement, except with crystal clear sounds that come from modern recording equipment, and a fresh take on some harmonies. Get it if you like Berlin School or slow-ish electronic music in general, it's wonderful. I hope Perge does more "secret tapes" like this, I'll gladly buy them. Favorite track: Anfa (Part 2).

about

Long forgotten legal disputes with former colleagues have prevented the official release of our concerts from the 70's and 80's. Although unofficial recordings surface from time to time they are often of poor quality and fail to capture the dynamics of those events. However a deal was struck recently that has secured the release of some of the tapes from our 1975 shows in France and the UK, enabling us to finally present you a glimpse in high quality sound. Back then it was certainly a different era for sound and technology but it was a period we look back on with great affection. We present this album with hope that perhaps further deals can be made elsewhere that would allow other recordings to finally see the light of day. We hope you enjoy the trip back to our formative years.
